My Girlie Girl!

Today I was painting my toe nails and Elle was watching me do it. I asked her if she wanted her nails painted and she said no. After a couple of minutes, she said "Elle needs pretty nails". So we got to painting. Then the toes. Daddy isn't to happy because it means his little baby is growing up. But I think she looks pretty dang cute.

Why my mom is amazing.

Here are 10 things I have learned from my mom that make up some of the reasons my mother is amazing. Happy Mother's Day.
1. Camping is fun, not dirty.
2. The spirit is felt really strong in the mountains.
3. It is better to run outside where you can feel the sticks and dirt under your feet than on a treadmill not going anywhere.
4. Take a vacation whenever you can.
5. There is something therapeutic about gardening.
6. Always have fun with whatever you are doing.
7. Snow ski fast enough to make your hair blow back.
8. You can't win the contest if you don't enter.
9. Never pay full price if you can get it on sale (I am still working on this one).
10. Family is the most important thing in the world and being a Mother is the greatest gift of all.
