A Very Late Halloween Post
I know this is extremely late, however, better late than never. We had a great Halloween this year. We always have such a good time at the annual McCauley Halloween party. Followed by trick-or-treating. Charlotte came over and we had so much fun watching our Dorothy, Ariel, and Ballerina running from house to house collecting candy.

Teagan's 2nd Birthday Party
Teagan turned 2 on Sept 12th. (Even though most people ask me if she turned 3). We had a small party for her since we also went to Disneyland that weekend for her Birthday as well. She had so much fun at her little party! It is so fun to see her little face get so excited from the attention and of course the presents! Here are a few shots of our little sweetie Teagie's Birthday!

Picture Frame
A few months ago Kevin and I bought an oil painting that was just on a canvas without a frame. We figured we would save a few hundred dollars and have Kevin build a frame instead. So here is this little project. First Kevin used his router to design the wood.

Then he built the frame.

The picture is of Isreal and the Sea of Galalee, so I wanted it to look a little worn. We tested out a few stains and then decided to go with paint.

First I painted the whole frame red.

Then put a coat of espresso brown paint over the red. Then I sanded the frame in different places to let the red and the wood color come through.

Our living room looks much better now with something filling that huge space on the wall. I love the way it turned out. You can't tell in the photos but this painting is massive. And luckily we have a little wood left over for a frame for our family picture.

Elle's Graduation
Elle had her pre-school graduation on Friday. She did such a great job. They performed some of the songs and skits they had been learning this year. Elle sang her little heart out and was the best little spider in the little miss muffet skit. After the graduation the kids played with a slip-n-slide and other water activities. The girls had so much fun on their first slip-n-slide. Although they preferred to wait till the other kids were doing something else so they could have it all to themselves. I am so proud of our little Elle. I can't believe how fast she is growing. She has loved Pre-School so much this year!!! And since she is still 3 she gets to enjoy a whole year of it again next year.

Our Snow Day!
I have been going back and forth on whether or not Elle is ready to go skiing. So we decided to take the girls to the snow for the day and see how she did. We had so much fun! Elle loved it. I didnt have real snow gloves for her, just knit ones. She never complained. Even though her hands were wet and cold she just kept playing. We decided she is ready to ski. Hopefully in the next couple of weeks we will head to the slopes for her first ski trip. I can't wait!

Elle's first pee in the woods. :) She is ready to backpack!

FINALLY!!!

I have spent the last year putting Elle through the pain and agony of potty training. I figured out that it was consistency that was missing. So, i finally got Kevin on board and it took 2 days. One day of her getting wet and ruining her clothes every 2 hours and one day of us taking her in to the bathroom every hour and a half. But we are finally done! She is POTTY TRAINED!!!! We are so excited she hasn't had even one accident since. (Granted it has only been a week) But still pretty darn good. I am so proud of our little Elle!
