We just got back from another wonderful trip to Bellingham WA. We were up visiting for about 11 days. We had a great time turning bowls and hanging out in the garage with grandpa. Oh wait- that was Kevin. I was upstairs shopping with Angie and taking care of the girls. The weather was crazy. From sunny, to rainy, to snowy, to windy. We had it covered. We love it up there and would consider moving there if they had any kind of big commercial builders. But they don't. In fact if they did, it wouldn't be the Bellingham we love. We also spent one day in Seattle with Kevin's brother. We went to the aquarium and out to lunch before we flew the rest of the way up.

Another beautiful day in Bellingham

Nasty Number 2
I guess Teagan has to copy EVERYTHING her big sister does. Another short bath today. I better have at least a few years of non-poop filled baths coming to me now since I got 2 in one week.

OH MY NASTY!
I have left out pictures for your benefit. Today I was enjoying my morning bath with my two girls. On my days off I love to have a hot bath with Elle and Teagan. Occasionally it is ruined by my sweet little Teagan making a little pee pee in the bath. But no big deal. We drain the water and climb in the shower. But today my special mommy and baby girls time was ruined for a completely different reason. I was just about to hand Teagan to Kevin when I smelled something stinky. (if you have a weak stomach you may want to stop reading) I asked Elle if she ..umm.. made bubbles :) but she just kept playing with her boat. Just then I noticed the color of the water changing to a smurky brown shade. I freaked out. I jumped up and handed Teagan to Kevin. Now, as most of you know I am a labor and delivery nurse. I can handle a little poop. But for some reason the idea of me laying in a pool of it made me almost throw up. I was screaming and acting completely ridiculous. Elle has been sick, so it wasn't her fault but that really didn't help. Elle and I jumped into the shower and scrubbed off. Then I got the pleasure of sanitizing my tub (3 times). Most mothers would say I was due if none of my kids have ever pooped in the tub. But trust me I could have gone the rest of my life without that experience. It may have ruined bath time forever. We'll see... But I am showering alone tomorrow. That's for sure.

A brag about my handy husband
So, woman are always telling me how lucky I am that Kevin can build and fix just about everything I need. I probably don't appreciate him enough. So here is a little tribute to my handy husband. A couple of days ago we were talking about how nice it would be to have a shelf under our TV to hold the receiver, speaker, XBOX, BlueRay, ect. We have a huge mantle that goes over the fire place and over a huge cubby hole. So a couple hours after a trip to Home Depot, we had a new shelf. It turned out great. He is now finishing a chest that he made to go under the shelf to hold toys. The chest is very rustic looking (just how I like it). I love when things look old. Here is a couple of pictures of my new shelf (before and after). Plus, here is a picture of another decorative cubby I have. I have 2 others to decorate and I don't like how they have come out- I would love some ideas if anyone has any cute ideas.
